Tall fit hoody – product review
This tall fit Sonneti hoody fell through my letterbox last week, and I haven’t stopped wearing it since. Here I briefly explain what the good and bad points about this tall-fit hoody currently on sale at Walktall are.
Good: awesome design
The pattern detail on the front of the hoody gives it a casual, well-worn look. It’s not too eye-catching or colourful, just easy-going and great for walking around in these spring/summer days.
It comes in a navy blue, so it’s ideal for wearing a white t-shirt underneath. I wear it half zipped-up, but it’d be fine to wear it open, or slung over your shoulder on a hot day.
If you ever find, as I do, buying tall mens clothing often means going for something a bit plain, then something like this works well.
Good: great tall body length fit
The hoody itself is easily long enough for tall men up to 7 feet in height. It comes down to a good length on the waist, so I’d say Walktall have got it spot-on there. Every size they do ends in ‘T’ for tall clothes so you’re guarenteed a good fit on the length.
Bad: sleeves slightly short
Simple solution, order one size up than usual. I first ordered in an XLT (extra-large tall) then moved up to a XXLT having tried it on. For most tall men, you’d be absolutely fine just getting one size up.
I actually went one step further, being over 7 feet, by having the sleeves extended. I just went to an alterations shop and they extended the elasticy end of the sleeve by using the existing material on the inside of the sleeve. This is a good tall tip, alterations shops can be the difference between getting clothes you love, or having to send them back. For less than a tenner, it was worth it.
Good: inexpensive and good value for money
I’ve been wearing this hoody almost every day since I got it and I know I’m going to get loads of use out of it. You can get the hoody for just
